LoveCats Top Model - Lars Scorpio

 

What does it take to be a LoveCats model? It takes hard work, dedication, loyalty and of course a great and positive attitude. What does it take to be a top model? To go above and beyond the call of duty. On time, pick up extra shifts, great customer service and  an over all beautiful personality.

We have another first everyone, our first MALE top model! As we all know LoveCats has amazing outfits for ladies but the store also has clothing for men. The store also hires male models as well and they are an important assets to the store! Our first male top model is Lars Scorpio, you've probably seen him, spoke with him hell maybe have even flirted with him! Get to know him a bit more as this top model has been made manager, even more a testament as to what being a hard working model can lead to.

How long have you been working for LoveCats?

For about a month and a half. I started on 03/02/2011

What shift do you usually work?
I usualy work the 5p-11p Tues-thrus shifts but i try to pick up extra shifts when i can.

Why do you enjoy working at LoveCats?
I enjoy working with my friends and family at LoveCats ^^ Its always fun to see what LoveCats outfits the sexy models pick to wear when their not on the stands ^^

Do you have any other modeling experience?
Just taking my own pics but LoveCats gave me my first opportunity.

Do you have any friends/family who also work at LoveCats?
Yes, one of my best friends turned me onto LoveCats but everyone is so friendly they make me feel like family. Weather their joking in groups or tuggin tails at the shop. I love my LoveCats Family ^^

What is the name of your favorite LC outfit and what draws you to it?
I wouldn't want to pick just one.. but if i had to the Defiance would have to be my favorite. I always get complements while wearing it. Its style fits my shape with minimal adjustments and looks great. Cant go wrong in black leather ;]

What do you do on SL when not at LoveCats?
I enjoy hitting the Clubs and Contests, Taking pics, Visiting with friends and family, Meeting new ppl and I try to RP in groups when i get a chance. Or taking my Choppers out for a ride.

What are some of your favorite SL hang outs?
More than likely you'll find me at LoveCats or one of the LoveCats Events.

What do you identify as on SL? Vamp, neko, fairy, hybrid, etc.
I'm just me :D

Any juicy gossip, naughty tales or silly stories you'd like to share?
Not going there :P

If you could think of any unique outfit to have LoveCat design, what would it be?
The thought of a LoveCats T-birds and Pink Ladies matching outfits gives me chills.. and their multiplying :D

Have you ever wondered what goes on in LoveCats head? The story behind some of your favorite outfits? Now you can get a sneak peek into the world of LoveCats with this special blog exclusive interview about one of the latest LoveCats Neko Shop & Mall design; Snakebite!

What inspired you to create this latest design?
I get so many requests for country inspired neko. It is one of the most requested items.. so I thought I would give it a go.

What was the hardest part of the outfit to design?
Getting an overall look that appealed to me, keeping it neko but something that could be worn by non-nekos as well.

What was the easiest part of the outfit to deisgn?
The chaps, had fun with those :D

You went with kitty boots instead of a classic cowboy boot; how come?
Since the requests have been for 'neko' country... I tried to stick with that but come up with a design that could easily be worn by non-nekos. I figured most of us already have some cowboy boots in our closets.. but who has snakeskin fringed boomers?

What music did you listen to while designing Snakebite, if any?
Truthfully I don't listen to country at all *ducks* I think on my playlist at the time was some deftones, sublime, Bob Marley, some dubstep mixes and techno.

So does this mean you're a little bit country and I get to be a little bit rock and roll?
Hehe. I think you can be whatever you want in this outfit. I did think a lot about 80's rock and growing up in a very small town when I was making this. While I've outgrown my small town roots- some nostalgia definitely went into this outfit. I hope its fun for you too!

Anything else you'd like to mention about this outfit?
I think this is a good one for country fans and those who aren't as well. I like the versatility of the layers and I like the different looks you can get by adding heels or taking off the jacket, I think it would be hot with a little tee too.

Any hints to your next amazing creation?
I'm in the mood for spring.. and Easter. So expect some more bunny costumes lol

LoveCats Top Model - Persephone Nyoki

What does it take to be a LoveCats model? It takes hard work, dedication, loyalty and of course a great and positive attitude. What does it take to be a top model? To go above and beyond the call of duty. On time, pick up extra shifts, great customer service and  an over all beautiful personality.

We focus the spotlight tonight on Persephone Nyoki, one of the lovely models you'd run into during the later or early morning shifts. A lovely and unique person she is also one of the few, if perhaps only, furry model currently on staff. A shining example of how well LoveCats clothes work for different body types and how you don't have to be a human or neko to wear these great looks. No only that, she has a beautiful personality to match her beautiful avatar. So sit back and enjoy reading more about her.

 

How long have you been working for LoveCats?
I've been with LC as a model since January of this year.

What shift do you usually work?
I usually work the 11pm-2am shift, but I try to keep an eye out on other shifts that I'm able to work when things go awry for the managers.

Why do you enjoy working at LoveCats?
It's fun meeting all the new people who come through the doors and even more awesome to see repeat customers coming back for more.

Do you have any other modeling experience?
No, this is my first and only job. ^__^

Do you have any friends/family who also work at LoveCats?
I used to have a friend that worked at LC but due to real life complications, he had to cut back on his time online. But all is not lost, I'm making great friends of those I work with.

What is the name of your favorite LC outfit and what draws you to it?
Oooh.....that's a really tough one. Lately, I've been really adoring the "barely-there" outfits, such as "Deck the Halls", "Bubbly", "XOXO", and LC's latest "Limerick". I get the most compliments when out at clubs in those. "Star light...Star bright" is another one I can't seem to get enough of. The star pawprints are so precious and I've used the googles from the outfit in many of my rave outfits. But I think my favorite favorite has to be "Kisu". It's just the right amount of beauty, sex, and mystery. I've always been partial to Asian Culture, so naturally, this is my top fav.

What do you on SL when not at LoveCats?
SHOP! *giggles* No, seriously, I hang out with my friends, go to clubs, build things, do hunts, and explore the wonders of SL. So many interesting places to visit, you are sure never to get bored with a great friend by your side.

What are some of your favorite SL hang outs?
Besides LC? XD I hang out at my best friend's club and various sims. Like I mentioned, I enjoy exploring the sites of SL.

What do you identify as on SL? Vamp, neko, fairy, hybrid, etc.
Well, identify is such a strong word. I don't really have a set genre that I most connect with. I'm a shapeshifting kitsune, but I wouldn't say I'm a furry/neko. I'm a bit of a lot of things; dolly, steam, goth, cyberpunk, neko, fur, victorian, fae, drow, foreign.....list goes on XD

Any juicy gossip, naughty tales or silly stories you'd like to share?
Oh my! None that wouldn't get my tail in trouble. Just kidding :D I don't really have any story except that when I first joined up with SL, I joined some neko MM group which one day, led me to LC. I've admired her work for nearly 2 years come May. Even picked up a hunt item from the Storybook Hunt back in 2009, which the prize was "Scarlett". Silly that i remember minut details like that, but I loved the environment, the people, and most importantly, the clothes! The shop's name attracted me because it is also the name of one of my favorite songs....hehehe.....and with the help of a co-worker doing a photo shoot, I realized LC had used ANOTHER name of another song I quite enjoy by the same band. So kudos to her for doing that, it made her shop stand out in my mind and kept me coming back for more of her lovely designs.

If you could think of any unique outfit to have LoveCat design, what would it be?
Another toughie...hrm...I'd have to say, because I love Asian Culture so much, I'd love to see LC do a kimono outfit or a Sari. Both are quite breathtaking in real life and to have a LC spin on them, would be divine!

Any final words for our readers?
Jeez...I never know what to say.  I guess remember that SL is just that. It's not RL, so don't take the fun out of something that's suppose to bring you joy. Life's too short for drama. Have fun and enjoy your days here......and don't forget to stop in and see all us lovely ladies *and men....don't want a riot on my tail for not mentioning the hunks working here too* down here at LoveCats. March Top LoveCat Models

First, I want to thank the models for working so hard for LoveCats. Next, I would like to thank the managers who helped me pull this together.

Welcome ladies and gents to the top model picks from March! After careful thought, the managers picked their top names for the best models of the month. These models worked hard and went above and beyond the call of duty. On time, friendly, helpful and a great asset to LoveCats. Here they are!

She's been with us for a while so you've more than likely seen her face, but what makes this kitty tick? Pleasure enjoy reading as this neko diva shares her second life with us a bit more.

How long have you been working for LoveCats?
Over a year now started Mar 5, 2010

What shift do you usually work?
You will find me at LoveCats Mall Between 5-8pm Sat and Sun

Why do you enjoy working at LoveCats?
Cause it's my home away from home, and I consider everyone here as family. All the kitteh's that either work here or come here to shop are so wonderful. Everyone is upbeat and a joy to be around and love to laugh and have a good time.

Do you have any other modeling experience?
No I don't, LoveCats has been my first modeling experience ever although I have modeled in the Real World a few times.

Do you have any friends/family who also work at LoveCats?
Not persay everyone I work with is my family and I have made some wonderful friends in the time I have been here

What is the name of your favorite LC outfit and what draws you to it?
That's hard to say for I have many favorites so hard to choose from but I will choose Nikki cause it is close to home life for me. I feel like me as I am in the real world cause it's similar to what I wear when I go out with the girls. Every outfit that LoveCat makes is stupendous love every one of them.

What do you on SL when not at LoveCats?
I either hang with my sisters at there place shootin the boot , dancing at rockin clubs with the best smexy dj's on the grid, I enjoy the hunts that come up from time to time and love to shop

What are some of your favorite SL hang outs?
Star Journey wonderful place to learn about life's answers and directions, I love hanging out at LoveCats Mall the atmosphere there is so welcoming and peaceful and at my sisters house

What do you identify as on SL? Vamp, neko, fairy, hybrid, etc. 
Neko all the way you'll never find me without a tail on. Being feline shows I love to play and have a soft side but don't pull the tail the claws are sharp...lol.

Any juicy gossip, naughty tales or silly stories you'd like to share?
Oh I tend to stay away from gossip that is how trouble starts, but do have many Naughty stories to tell but don't have time and room to write a book at the moment...RAWR

If you could think of any unique outfit to have LoveCat design, what would it be?
Hmm hard one I like to wear outfits that would bring out the tiger in you and lots sexy looking clothes

Always have fun no matter what you do SL does have it's hardships from time to time but your never alone.. if you need a shoulder call on someone you trust, more then likey they have been in your boat a time or two. Have you ever wondered what goes on in LoveCats head? The story behind some of your favorite outfits? Now you can get a sneak peek into the world of LoveCats with this special blog exclusive interview about one of the latest LoveCats Neko Shop & Mall design; Eternal!

What inspired you to create this latest design?
This outfit is one that started out with one idea and turned into something totally different. Sometimes they take on a life of their own, as odd as that sounds.

What was the hardest part of the outfit to design?
Getting the overall "look" to work despite the fact that it was so different from what I originally envisioned.

What was the easiest part of the outfit to deisgn?
The jewelery, I love to make jewelry. In real life too :)

How did you decide on the colors for Eternal?
I thought to keep it simple, red and black and rather than white, I went with silver. I think that is my favorite.

Which one of your skins do you think would go best with Eternal?
I think the grey kitten skin would be really pretty with any of the colors.

Is Eternal a sign for kittens expect more sexy looks in the future?
I try to always keep it sexy, I often play with whimsy as well, combining the two. Yes I would like to do more sexy and elegant designs. My tastes vary so much, I believe that is true with most women. I think one of the beautiful things in SL is we are able to 'reinvent' ourselves daily and when I design, I keep this in mind. I love to be able to have a different look each day and each day get a "wow" response. I'll keep putting out a variety of designs so we can all enjoy that "wow"

Anything else you'd like to mention about this outfit?
I think the detailed prim work and jewelry are such a wonderful part of this outfit. Unfortunately on a flat board in a shop.. the details are lost. I think it is one of the many designs that needs to be seen up close and in person. So please be sure to come by the shop to see it modeled.

Any hints to your next amazing creation?
I often work on a few things at once. Right now I am working on 3 different outfits, I'm not sure yet which will come out on top ;) I get so many requests for particular items or themes. I'm working right now to get a few of them out there. So if you have been asking for something... you might see it soon ;)
